Recently, China's first Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) Center in Xiamen Humanity Hospital initiated the first clinical study on the safety for tumor patients. As the first adoption of accelerator-based BNCT technology in hospitals, it marks China's breakthrough in BNCT and signifies that China has become the world's second country following Japan which is capable of using accelerator-based BNCT technology.
