Xiamen Urban Renewal Group Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated on September 29.

Established through the integration of C&D Group’s entities engaged in urban operations, Xiamen Urban Renewal Group reflects the strategic priorities set by the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee and the Xiamen Municipal Government, with relevant municipal authorities working to better align the role and deployment of state-owned capital with the city’s urban development needs. The move supports urban renewal initiatives at the national, provincial, and municipal levels and marks an important step in C&D Group’s efforts to cultivate new growth drivers at the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030).

Drawing on C&D Group’s resources across the industrial value chain and its market-oriented operating capabilities, Xiamen Urban Renewal Group will coordinate urban renewal resources across the city. It aims to become a city-level entity responsible for coordinating and implementing urban renewal projects, a comprehensive service provider covering the full project life cycle, and a leading urban renewal platform in China. Through these efforts, it will support Xiamen’s development as a model bay-oriented city and help the city become a modern, international city of higher quality and greater appeal.
